Respite residents stay for short periods of several weeks, and longer periods of several months or more. This can give families, carers and the elderly person a much needed break, and time to recover. It can serve as a recouperation period following an operation and it can be also used to try out the services of the home with anticipation of a longer-stay in the future.
Whether staying for a short period of respite or a longer period, all residents are offered the same person-centred, high quality care afforded to more permanent residents.
This includes fresh, daily cooked meals, stimulating activities and a comprehensive relatives gateway with a personalised care plan.
However long their stay, your loved one will be made to feel most incredibly welcome, valued and cared for. So that you, and indeed, they, can take the rest and recouperation that's needed.
The minimum stay is 10 days.
